Yep he sure was a great guy, he touched many lives and was taken way to soon. Never far from thought - Forever in the heart -- To his family; There is nothing I can say to ease the pain, there are no words that can explain let a lone sooth or change. Hold tight to the time you had knowing there would never have been enough time with him.. Deeply sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry. I will miss him, I already do. We would get together and laugh and laugh. He was so brilliant, like a shooting star. So many people will miss you Eric. I lost the best friend of my life, I know many feel the same as I do. But he had the mind of an Engineer and a scientist. The first time he came around he was quiet, he was learning all about us. He would come to me with some pretty far out ideas but he also had the ability to get everyone on the same page and going in the same direction. We accomplished what we thought was impossible and we built some of the coolest stuff. We traveled all over the world together. Eric and I had so much fun together and sadly I know I’ll never experience the fun that we had just talking and working or traveling. Since I’ve been in FL he came to see me at least twice a year. Nobody else ever called or came here to see me like he did. In my opinion we’ve all lost a brilliant man who was capable of anything against all odds. A true Patriot. I think the world lost future innovations and inventions by Eric that could have helped us all. Like the song says “The sun is out, the sky is blue, not a thing to spoil my view. But it’s raining, raining in my heart.” I Love You my Brother and I’ll miss you so much. Like the yellow cardinal you were rare if not one of a kind.

A yellow cardinal is rare. Most will never see one.

I was very fortunate to meet Eric at TRCC. He was always a blast to be around, we ran around all over this part of country, not to mention several trips down south to Memphis. Me and my dad seen him and got to meet his daughter( who he was very proud of) back in the late spring. I’ll miss you my good friend, but look forward to seeing you again on that big farm up above.

Spirits were always lifted when he was around. I was always glad to run in to him. And that means so much more today. In business, he and his team consistently provided reliable service. Never let us down one single time. Bless you all

The last time we were in town from Sedalia, I (Randy/dad) drove around for two hours looking for Eric. I went to the farm and to his dad’s house. I got his phone number and never could get ahold of him. I was wanting to tell him that I was sorry for missing his dad’s funeral but just couldn’t find him. So I thought to myself that I would be in over the 4th of July and I would look him up then. We are all so sorry to hear of this tragic, too soon calling home this friend to everyone. He never met a stranger. All of our condiolences to his wife, daughter, family and other friends. Randy & Billie Emmons/Crystal Tuggle.
