Bruce Redwine, 93, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Westwood Hills in Poplar Bluff.

 

He was born on August 31, 1924 to Horace and Pearle Redwine in Maynard, AR.  Bruce graduated from Pace College in 1953 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  Bruce worked as a Senior Auditor for the IRS for over 30 years.

Bruce was a proud WWII Veteran he was a member of VFW, American Legion, Masonic Lodge No29, and U.S. Navy Armed Guard.  Bruce was an avid golfer and spent numerous nights a week participating in country dancing.  Bruce was a proud graduate of Arthur Murray School of Dance.  In his free time he enjoyed researching his families genealogy.

 

Bruce is survived by two sons, Alan and Travis Redwine; one daughter, Linda Redwine-Kaplen; seven step- children, Margie White, Chyril Fleming, Tammy Burt, Diana Fenton, Tim Emerson, Steve Kane and Robert Emerson; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and his friend and dancing partner Lena Williams of Poplar Bluff.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Max, Kern and Nema Redwine.

 

A celebration of life will be held July 17, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with full military honors.
